Oh so sweet....

A new sweet pattern that was so fun to design.

I have just completed a new pattern which I call the Puffy Granny Baby Blanket Pattern. I am in love with the little puff stitches. They are like little pillows of softness all through the blanket.

This pattern is a new take on the classic Granny Square. I joined the squares with a nice wide stitch that is very easy, beautiful and what I like the best is that it lays flat. The pattern has complete instructions for the square, the joins, and the border.

The blanket pictured is made with Berroco Vintage worsted weight (size 4, medium). It was made with 16 squares and has a generous 5 inch border. The finished size of this blanket is 35 by 35 inches.

The blanket can be made with dk, worsted or chunky yarn. In addition the size can be changed depending on the amount of squares made.

I am happy that this was finished before Thanksgiving and that I can focus on cooking for the next week. Then back at new patterns.

Considering making a baby mobile next. Yay! Have a wonder and safe Thanksgiving.

Warmly, Deborah
